Soccer in the rain.

Saturday, April 19th, we took Lynsie to her soccer game. We kept hoping that they would call it off as it was raining. Well, no way, they played as we stood by under umbrellas. It only misted during the game so it wasn't too bad. The kids didn't mind, of course. It was fun watching the little ones as they had a great time. The other team won but that is OK because they had a good time, they did their best and it was a good experience. They will do better next time.

Lynsie kept trying to pick up the ball so it could not go into the goal area and one of the girls kept trying to kick and Lynsie hurt her hand. She was a trooper though without a single complaint. Ralph called his granddaughter, Jessica, since watching the kids play reminded him when he went to see his granddaughters, Jessica and Jannette play when they were little. They are both married now and Jessica has 2 little ones.
